Conquest

A turn-based territory game for the iPad and the web, against up to five computer opponents.

Runs on iPad, Web browser

Take territories, hold whole regions for extra armies, trade cards for reinforcements, and knock every other player out.

There are three hand-drawn maps: Australia, Australia in detail, and the World. You can also draw a map of your own in the built-in editor. Eight kinds of computer opponent each play their own way, from Reckless to Optimus, whose numbers were found by having it play against itself.

Several people can share one iPad and take turns. Add it to the Home Screen and it plays like an app, even with the network off. After a game, a replay shows how the map changed, move by move.
